UK (Reading) – DDI (DHCP, DNS, IPAM) – Business Development

Leading provider of DDI(DHCP, DNS, IPAM) products and services seeks Business Development representative living within commutable distance to Reading (as this is an office based role). The company are undergoing a period of considerable organic growth and are looking for someone with some experience in the above market to help identity, qualify and possibly close business. The main focus will be the UK but other parts of EMEA may also be covered. Experience doing lead generation, cold calling is required.

They are looking for someone with IT Security experience who has build a channel from scratch not just in the UK but across other parts of Europe.

UK – New Business Sales – Cyber Security

With significant recent investment and 3 acquisition they now the first in the market to offer “IAM analytics” to their offering. They are looking for a new business sales person who lives in or close to the City (London) to sell across all verticals with the exception of finance in the UK and near bits of Europe. Average order values are in the region of $50K although they do close deals over $100K but also some as small as $10K.

 

The role suits someone with a hunter mentality and high work rate.

 

While their offerings range from Network Security to Identity & Access Management (IAM), their primary interest is in someone who knows and has good contacts in the finance sector, not what technology they have sold. It should be noted that this role also comes with an active pipeline.

UK – London – IT Security Sales to the Finance sector

This IT Security vendor has been established as a leader in 2 Gartner Magic quadrants (one for 7 years running). With significant recent investment and 3 acquisition they now the first in the market to offer “IAM analytics” to their offering. They are looking for a senior new business sales person who lives in or close to the City (London) to sell to the Finance, Banking and Insurance sector (FBI). They have a number of significant customers in this sector already including one of the 4 main high street retail banks who spent $2M last year on a solution with them. While their offerings range from Network Security to Identity & Access Management (IAM), their primary interest is in someone who knows and has good contacts in the finance sector, not what technology they have sold. France – Presales – Cyber-Security – Threat intelligence

This Pre IPO vendor of Threat intelligence / Cyber Security who were considered by some Analysts to be the start up fo the year in 2015 are looking for their first presales person in France. Based out of Paris you will be familiar with some or all of the following technologies: Advanced Threat Protection, IDS / IPS, SIEM, Forensics & Remediation, Threat Intelligence. Full spec below.

  • 5+ years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a systems engineer.
  • 7+ years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Expert knowledge in security and fundamental knowledge of switching, routing, QoS.
  • Strong understanding of encryption and authentication technologies including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPsec, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, 3DES.
  • Strong UNIX, Linux and NT administration skills.
  • Experience with caching, proxies, and/or L7 networking a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, and presentation skills.
  • “Whatever it takes” attitude and motivated to find solutions rather than admire the challenge.
  • Prior startup experience preferred but not essential.
  • BS EE/CS or equivalent experience.

This leading vendor in the information security space who have a suite products designed for the Security Operations centre (SOC) are looking for an enterprise class presales (Sales Engineer) person based in Scotland or the North of England to focus on customers and prospects in the region. In order to be considered for this role you would need to have had experience with some (but not necessarily all) of the following network / cyber security technologies – Firewalls, Secure Web gateways, Intrusion Detection / Intrusion prevention (IDS / IPS), Advanced Malware detection / Advanced Threat prevention(ADP) , Security Information Event management (SIEM), Forensics & Remediation.

 

 

UK – Manchester – New Business Sales – Network Security, top earner ~£500K

A well respected Network Security Systems Integrator (SI) / Reseller with over 50 staff is looking for a new business sales person based out of their Greater Manchester office. With strong partnerships in place with Blue Coat and Intel / McAfee this company’s top performer earned over £350K in 2014 and closer to £500K in 2015. Good at doing new business whilst also good at building long term “trusted advisor” relationships, you will be given a mix of existing accounts to develop and prospects to target. In 2015 alone they closed several £M+ deals of note, one with a well known mobile operator for more than $6M and the other for a similar sum in UK Central Government. UK Sales Manager – IT Risk Management vendor

Based in or close to London this role is about managing a small team of very experienced enterprise class sales people whilst also selling to your own accounts and carrying a personal as well as a team target. Thus successful candidates will be capable of selling to end user accounts but at the same time have plenty of managerial experience. A player manager role if you like. With average orders in the UK around the $300K mark and with the biggest closed in the UK close to $5M you should have some experience closing deals in excess of $1M. With an application centric approach to security, this vendor, who has a close link to the firewall market, received 5 stars from SC Magazine for its Policy and risk management product (for the 5th year in a row) they are also well placed in Deloitte’s Technology fast 500 and grew 45% in the last fiscal year.

They have had a great deal of success selling into the following vertical markets – Finance, Telco (Service providers), pharmaceuticals and Petrochemicals – i.e. any heavily regulated industry. The solution is both on premise and cloud enabled.
