Founded in 2006, this private IT security software company offers IT auditing solutions for systems and applications across IT infrastructure, or put another way, they are a visibility platform for User Behavior Analysis and Risk Mitigation.

 

They are looking for a new business hunter to focus on winning new business from new logo clients in a number of set postal regions in Germany.

 

Ideal candidates should have experience of one or more of the following: SIEM [Security information Event management], “Risk mitigation”, “user behaviour analytics”, “cyber security” and have experience dealing with Medium to enterprise sized businesses and closing deals in excess of €50K [run rate] which some exposure to deals over €100k.

 

 

 

UK (North / Scotland) – Enterprise Presales – Cyber Security

This leading vendor in the information security space who have a suite products designed for the Security Operations centre (SOC) are looking for an enterprise class presales (Sales Engineer) person based in Scotland or the North of England to focus on customers and prospects in the region. In order to be considered for this role you would need to have had experience with some (but not necessarily all) of the following network / cyber security technologies – Firewalls, Secure Web gateways, Intrusion Detection / Intrusion prevention (IDS / IPS), Advanced Malware detection / Advanced Threat prevention(ADP) , Security Information Event management (SIEM), Forensics & Remediation.

 

 

UK – Manchester – New Business Sales – Network Security, top earner ~£500K

A well respected Network Security Systems Integrator (SI) / Reseller with over 50 staff is looking for a new business sales person based out of their Greater Manchester office. With strong partnerships in place with Blue Coat and Intel / McAfee this company’s top performer earned over £350K in 2014 and closer to £500K in 2015. Good at doing new business whilst also good at building long term “trusted advisor” relationships, you will be given a mix of existing accounts to develop and prospects to target. In 2015 alone they closed several £M+ deals of note, one with a well known mobile operator for more than $6M and the other for a similar sum in UK Central Government. Distribution Account Manager – UK – Forensics & Remediation

One of the best known vendors of network security solutions whose solutions span Advanced threat protection, forensics and incident response and who are positioned in the leaders quadrant in a number of Gartner defined categories, are looking for someone to manage a 2 tier distribution model focusing on a leading distributor, their channel partners through to the end user (for non-assigned accounts). Candidates should be based in the South East ideally somewhere along the M3 / M4 corridor, have had experience working with Disti’s, VAR’s / LAR’s and end users, experience selling network security related products such as next generation firewalls (NGFW), secure web gateways, IDS / IPS, SIEM, Forensics & Remediation.

Cyber Security Presales – Germany – 140K OTE

This Pre IPO vendor, who has just raised $35M in VC funding, has recently been identified by Gartner as a “Cool Vendor” because they offer highly innovative technologies that address an organization’s demand for data-driven analytics and advanced threat detection solutions. They are looking for 2 presales people in Germany. One to cover the Northern half of Germany and the other to cover Southern Germany and Austria

  • 5+ years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a systems engineer.
  • 7+ years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Expert knowledge in security and fundamental knowledge of switching, routing, QoS.
  • Strong understanding of encryption and authentication technologies including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPsec, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, 3DES.
  • Strong UNIX, Linux and NT administration skills.
  • Experience with caching, proxies, and/or L7 networking a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, and presentation skills.
  • “Whatever it takes” attitude and motivated to find solutions rather than admire the challenge.
  • Prior startup experience preferred.
  • BS EE/CS or equivalent experience.

Account Manager – MSSP

This market leading Managed Security Services provider (MSSP) who have been singled out for praise by both Check Point and FireEye and have been described as a company with great opportunities and future potential,  is looking for a hungry, self-staring ambitious sales person to look after accounts in the public sector (central or local). The successful candidate does not need to have sold to the public sector before.  They will be given an account list some of which will be existing customers and some prospects. Either way, the focus is on new business.

Experience

UK – New logo Enterprise Sales – Cyber-Security

This Pre IPO vendor, who were identified by Gartner as a “Cool Vendor” in the information security space because they offer highly innovative technologies that address an organization’s demand for data-driven analytics and advanced threat detection solutions, are looking for:

  1. A hunter, someone who can win new logo business.
  2. This person needs to be able to self generate. Being a start-up this person needs to be capable of operation without the huge resources that may be available to them in companies like IBM or HP.
  3. This person needs to be able to generate run rate business as well as keeping an eye on the bigger deals.
  4. This person needs to be channel friendly as the company are 100% channel fulfilled. This role is not about finding new channel partners but working with the VARs already there.

The ideal candidate will have a stable background with a track record of success selling solutions in one or more of the following technology areas: Advanced Threat Protection, Intrusion Detection – Intrusion Prevention (IDS / IPS), next generation firewalls, Security Information Event Management (SIEM), packet capture and analysis, network monitoring. Experience of having worked in a small start up type environment will be a bonus.
