UK Public Sector Sales

A leading provider of Identity and Access management (IAM) solutions is looking for someone to sell to the UK public Sector [both Central and Local Government.

Government accounts the currently work with include MoD and some associated agencies, DWP, HMRC, Houses of Parliament, Several NHS Trusts, plenty of local Gov authorities and universities [e.g. Goldsmiths, Nottingham Uni, Loughborough], Met Police.

They grew 20% in 2016 and in excess of 15% last year. Average order values are £100K – £300K but they do have deals much larger than this, the biggest ever being ~$11M in the public sector. 

You can be based anywhere in the UK and you don’t have to have sold IAM solutions to be of interest [although you do have to have come from a security background).

US vendor of end point security and post infection identification and remediation seeks senior enterprise sales person to be the first person on the ground in the Netherlands to cover the BeNeLux. Not only will you have an extensive network of contacts in the enterprise space across multiple verticals, you will have a good understanding of the channel as you will be responsible for the whole strategy in the territory. People who come from a Next generation antivirus, Automated EDR [endpoint detection & response] / Threat hunting and Incident response / virtual patching background are particularly relevant.

UK – Sales – Data Encryption

Leading data encryption vendor who sells to the Finance, Retail, Health and Manufacturing sectors is looking for someone with experience selling encryption tools to CISO’s / Risk officers. With a European Directive coming in next year that will make protective personal and sensitive data compulsory – what was once a nice to have will become a must have. Average order values around $300K although many deals > $1M. Sales cycles 9+months.

UK (Reading) – DDI (DHCP, DNS, IPAM) – Business Development

Leading provider of DDI(DHCP, DNS, IPAM) products and services seeks Business Development representative living within commutable distance to Reading (as this is an office based role). The company are undergoing a period of considerable organic growth and are looking for someone with some experience in the above market to help identity, qualify and possibly close business. The main focus will be the UK but other parts of EMEA may also be covered. Experience doing lead generation, cold calling is required.

A leading network security vendor is looking for someone with experience of selling in the Nordics (and to a lesser extent Russia and Ukraine) to take over an existing set of customers, partners and a $3M pipeline. The role would suit someone who understands the cultures that make up the Nordics and can do both direct touch sales and channel management. You will work with a presales person covering the territory working on deals that range in length from 3 months to 9/12 months. While the company is well established globally and considered the absolute leader in it’s field, they are pre IPO and stock is included in the package. Growing at 30% per annum (although Q1 16 was up 70% over Q1 15) it’s a good time to join – especially as the company’s nearest rivals are only operating through the channel in the region.

Average order values are in the region of $50K although they do close deals over $100K but also some as small as $10K.

While their offerings range from Network Security to Identity & Access Management (IAM), their primary interest is in someone who knows and has good contacts in the finance sector, not what technology they have sold. It should be noted that this role also comes with an active pipeline.

They are looking for a senior new business sales person who lives in or close to the City (London) to sell to the Finance, Banking and Insurance sector (FBI). They have a number of significant customers in this sector already including one of the 4 main high street retail banks who spent $2M last year on a solution with them. While their offerings range from Network Security to Identity & Access Management (IAM), their primary interest is in someone who knows and has good contacts in the finance sector, not what technology they have sold.
